An opera by Jaromír Weinberger, which was highly acclaimed before World War II is set in the Czech fairy tale world. The stage becomes a kaleidoscope of possibilities. The images function together to create a dynamic mosaic. Each tile could represent something individual and at the same moment contribute as a moving component to the overall picture.
The departure from home, leaving the familiar, is reflected in the kaleidoscope of possibilities of an ever-changing stage. Everything is in motion, nothing is defined.
The home in which a healthy dose of love, security, community and society are juxtaposed with and the art of music, the longing for something new. Thus, the room is initially a place of security, a clear soothing place that seems almost closed to the outside world but is increasingly penetrated by it. Security and the unfamiliar, a place of retreat, but also the desire to explore and investigate permeate the virtual space and always allow references to the old and the new, the past and the future, the resting and the driving.
